4th Coy once again found themselves in Greensboro, North Carolina, to participate in the reenactment marking the 231st anniversary of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. More information about the battle can be found in the Blog. Camp was made in Country Park, which was known at Tannenbaum Park until the National Park Service took over the administration of the park. Like in previous years, working with the National Park Service employees to ensure black powder safety went very smoothly. 4th Coy was joined at Tannenbaum Park by the 71st and a group of Hessians. The action for the Guards was a little light on the first day’s tactical demonstration, but more powder was burned on Sunday…much more satisfying.
